Respecting Our Heritage. Cultivating Leaders. Creating Change.
RCC is celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout the 2023 calendar year! We invite you to join our celebration, honor RCC’s history, cultivate new relationships, re-energize alumni connections, and have some fun!
The Roxbury Community College of today was made possible through community activism and civic engagement. Through our 50th anniversary events, we’ll honor this legacy, inspire a new generation of social justice change makers, and position the College for an additional 50+ years of success.
Whether you attend an event, donate to the RCCF, help spread the word, or simply take the time to learn about RCC’s unique history, we encourage you to engage.
This is your College. This is your Celebration.
Roxbury Community College transforms lives through excellence and innovation, preparing our learners for active citizenry and success in a changing world. Making a college education attainable to all requires scholarship funding, innovative student support services, and continued program improvements. We need support from donors like you to fulfill our mission.
No gift is too large or too small. It took a village to build RCC, and collective efforts will remain critical to the College’s sustainability and growth.
Help us build on the transformative impact of RCC’s first 50 years with a donation to support our exciting future!
Knowledge is power, and spreading knowledge of RCC’s history is an important part of our 50th Anniversary Celebration. Starting with RCC’S 50 Pioneers Project, we’re taking the time to memorialize the unwritten stories of RCC. Our founders provided us with a blueprint for demanding that community needs are met, and their work must be a resource that’s available to all.
We’re calling all RCC students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and supporters to help us spread the word about RCC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. We need your help to make sure that everyone in the city and state attends and supports our events. There’s no effort to small – whether you share a few posts on social media, connect your classmates with our Alumni Office, or invite two friends to attend an event, you’re helping us meet our goals.
